Black shelf brackets for building shelving from plain timber boards, where the bracket is part of the finished look rather than something to conceal. The black steel L-angle reads as industrial or workshop styling against brick, plaster or painted board. Packs of two or six mean a single shelf or a full wall of them can be bought in one go.
Each bracket is constructed from high-strength cold-rolled steel, which gives an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and keeps the arm from flexing under a loaded board. Four sizes are offered, 6, 8, 10 and 12 inches, so the bracket can be matched to the depth of board and the load it has to carry. Pre-drilled holes allow quick, secure mounting to wall posts, masonry or a solid wood frame. Screws are not included, so they can be matched to your wall type.
They suit a living room shelf above a desk, a kitchen run for jars, a garage or a workshop, and they are the usual answer when a shelf has to fit a span no ready-made unit covers. Everstock supplies two pack sizes because one shelf and a whole wall of shelving are very different jobs. Buying the six pack up front usually works out cheaper than adding brackets one shelf at a time as a wall gets built out.
