Under-desk cable management tray for the desk that looks clean on top and chaotic underneath. It takes the power strip, the adapters and the loops of spare cord that normally sit in a pile by your feet, and holds them in a basket fixed beneath the desktop. Anyone who has vacuumed around a nest of wires knows why the floor is the wrong place for them.
Mounting works two ways: a clamp grips the desktop with no tools and no holes, or screws fix the tray permanently for a setup that will not move. The tray runs along the length of the desk rather than sitting in one corner, so cable can be routed from the wall socket to the monitor without a visible drop. Slack is stored inside instead of hanging. The basket shape holds the strip flat rather than letting it hang on its own flex, which is what eventually loosens a plug.
