The bag is made from linen and polyester, a soft-faced fabric that keeps its shape against a frame and takes a wash when it inevitably needs one. It hangs over the rail or between mattress and base rather than being screwed to anything, so it can be moved from cot to toddler bed and later to a bunk. The pockets are open-topped, which is what makes one-handed retrieval possible in the first place, and the fabric face wipes down after a cream or milk spill.
