Seagrass storage basket for the bathroom counter that collects skincare, cotton pads, hair ties and whatever else has no cupboard of its own. Gathering those items into one basket is what makes a counter read as tidy, since the number of separate objects on show matters more than the amount of stuff stored. The natural weave also softens a room full of tile and chrome.
Each basket is handwoven from seagrass over a wire frame, so the sides hold their rectangular shape instead of collapsing inward as the contents are taken out. Because every piece is made by hand, the weave and the shade vary slightly from one basket to the next, which is a mark of the material rather than a fault. Baskets stack when empty, with a smaller one sitting inside a larger one, so a spare takes almost no shelf space.
Everstock supplies it as a single basket so a bathroom can be built up one shelf at a time rather than committed to a whole set. Beyond the bathroom it holds snacks on a kitchen worktop, remotes and chargers on a living room shelf, or stationery on an office desk. Keep it out of standing water and away from the shower spray, since seagrass is a natural fibre and prefers to stay dry.
