Mesh desk caddy is the compact, side-by-side answer for a desk that needs three things separated and nothing more complicated than that. Three storage compartments plus a built-in pencil holder cover pens, sticky notes, clips and a phone, all in one unit that sits within arm's reach. It suits a desk that has already been decluttered and simply needs the survivors given a place to live.
Metal construction is why the compartment walls stay square rather than bowing as the baskets load, and the mesh pattern means each section can be identified without leaning across the desk to look in. Because the compartments sit alongside each other rather than stacked, everything is a single reach away with no lifting or unstacking, which is the practical trade-off a wider caddy makes against a tiered tower.
It fits beside a keyboard, on a reception counter, or on a classroom desk where shared supplies are picked up and put back constantly. The black finish stays looking clean on a desk that gets used rather than photographed. In a home office it takes the odds and ends that otherwise colonise the space in front of the monitor, which is the one part of a desk that should stay clear.
