Metal under-desk cable tray for a setup heavy enough that a light plastic basket would sag under it - a docking station, a multi-socket strip and two or three power bricks all living beneath the same desk. The tray carries that weight on a rigid frame and keeps the whole lot off the floor where it cannot be kicked or caught by a chair. Weight is the usual point at which under-desk storage quietly fails.
Construction is metal throughout, and the tray clamps onto the desktop rather than screwing into it, so a thick or finished desk is not drilled to take it. The clamp bites firmly enough that the tray does not shift when a cable is pulled from the far side. Open sides mean a plug can be reached and swapped without removing the tray.
