Desk organizer with bookend for the study desk where a short run of books slumps sideways the moment one is pulled out. The upright panel holds the row square while the box below takes the pens, cables and loose paper that would otherwise be stacked on top of the books. It is aimed at students and anyone working from a desk that also has to serve as a bedside or dining surface.
The body is moulded in plastic, specifically PP, so it wipes clean and takes the knocks of being pushed around a desk without chipping at the corners. Because the bookend and the storage compartment are one piece, the panel cannot slide away under the weight of a full row the way a loose metal bookend does. The simple squared-off shape means two units can be set back to back to hold a longer row from both ends.
Stand it at the back of a desk against the wall, on a shelf above a workstation, or on a dorm bookshelf where a full-height unit will not fit. Everstock designed it for desks that are cleared and rebuilt constantly, since the whole thing moves in one hand with the books still standing. It is equally at home holding cookbooks on a kitchen shelf or folders in a home office.
