Wooden storage cabinet with drawer, for the corner of a bedroom or living room that needs a small piece of furniture rather than another plastic box. The drawer takes folded clothing, sundries and the odds and ends that have no drawer of their own, while the printed exterior means the cabinet can stand in plain sight instead of being hidden away.
It is handmade from wood rather than pressed board, so the carcass carries real weight and the drawer keeps its shape instead of sagging after a season of daily use. The European-style print runs across the front and sides, which is what turns it from a storage box into something closer to a decorative piece. The rectangular form is deliberate: flat sides sit flush to a wall and line up beside other furniture in a way a curved case never manages.
Set it at the end of a bed for folded clothing, in a hallway for gloves and post, or on a living room sideboard where a bare box would look wrong. In a small room it earns its floor space twice over, once as storage and once as something worth looking at, which is the only way a single-purpose piece survives in a flat this size.
