Slim storage cart for the narrow strip of floor beside a sofa, a bed or a fridge that is too tight for a cabinet but wide enough to be useful. Its stacked open tiers hold snacks, books, remotes and the daily sundries that otherwise spread across a coffee table. Because the whole rack is open, everything on it stays visible rather than being forgotten at the back of a cupboard.
The frame is plastic, which keeps the loaded rack light enough to shift with one hand when the floor needs vacuuming, and it wipes clean when a snack packet leaks. It assembles from flat pack without tools beyond what is in the box, and the tiers stack vertically so the footprint stays the same whether the rack is one shelf tall or several. Nothing is fixed to a wall, so it leaves no marks behind.
Everstock sized it for living rooms and bedrooms in flats, where floor space is measured in inches and a standard shelving unit is simply too deep. In a kitchen it holds snacks, packets and tins beside the counter, and in a home office it takes files and printer paper off the desk. It moves room to room as easily as it was assembled, which suits a home that gets rearranged often.
