Expandable microwave shelves add a storage layer under an appliance that is already taking the whole counter. This adjustable stand lifts a microwave or small oven onto a platform, opening the space beneath it for seasoning jars, utensils and packets. Everstock made the width adjustable because appliance footprints vary far more than kitchen counters do.
The shelf expands to match the appliance sitting on it, and the frame is structured specifically to stop a microwave or oven rocking, which protects the appliance and keeps the shelf stable when the door is pulled open. The PP body is light enough to carry across the room in one hand yet rigid under a loaded appliance, and assembly is straightforward with no specialist tools.
It suits a kitchen counter under a microwave, a dining or living room table where an appliance has to live, or a pantry shelf holding small household appliances. The space it opens underneath usually becomes the new home for the seasoning jars that were crowding the hob. Because it is portable and freestanding, the whole unit moves when the kitchen layout changes rather than being fixed to one spot. Setting the width to the appliance base rather than to its widest point keeps the shelf footprint as small as possible.
