The rack measures 26.5 x 25 cm and is built to take a board up to 2.5 cm thick, which covers most household plastic and wooden boards but is worth checking against a heavy butcher block before ordering. Hanging the board vertically lets air reach both faces at once, which is what prevents the damp smell that develops when boards are stacked. The stainless body stays sturdy under a loaded board and wipes clean without staining.
It suits the cupboard directly above a prep area, where the board is put away wet and needs to finish drying.
