Round lift-top storage ottoman that works as a coffee table, an extra seat and a blanket box without any of the three feeling like a compromise. The lid lifts off to reveal the full interior, so throws, remotes, board games and children's toys drop out of sight in one movement. It is the piece that lets a living room be tidied in about thirty seconds rather than properly cleaned.
The shell is covered in PU leather, which is scratch-resistant and wipes back to clean with a damp cloth instead of needing a specialist product. Inside, high-density foam under the seat gives it enough resilience to be sat on regularly, and a thickened wooden frame carries the load rather than the foam. Four wooden legs screw on by hand, which is the whole of the assembly and takes about ten minutes out of the box.
Set it in the middle of a sofa arrangement as a soft coffee table, at the end of a bed for spare bedding, or in a playroom as a toy box with a seat on top. Everstock chose the round shape because it removes the sharp corner a rectangular ottoman always puts at shin height in a tight room. A tray on the lid turns it into a stable surface for drinks.
