Metal mesh pencil holder caddy that keeps writing kit upright and sorted instead of lying flat across a desk. The upright section takes pens, pencils and markers on end where the tips stay findable, while two baskets alongside hold the flat things that otherwise slide under a keyboard: clips, rubbers, sticky pads and memory sticks. Standing pens on end also stops the ink pooling away from the nib the way it does when a pen is left lying flat for weeks.
The frame is metal mesh throughout, so it holds its shape under a full load of pens rather than bowing the way a thin plastic pot does once it is full. Crumbs and shavings fall through the mesh instead of settling in the base, which means the caddy is tipped out and wiped rather than picked clean. The dark finish hides ink marks that show quickly on pale plastic.
It suits a home office desk that has to look tidy on a video call, a shared desk where several people reach for the same pens, or a bedroom study corner where the surface doubles as a dressing table by evening. Everstock built it to sit at the back edge of a desk, where an upright holder takes almost no working depth away from the space in front of the keyboard.
