Double-layer shoe holder that stacks footwear on two levels in the floor area one pair normally takes. It is a single small stacker rather than a whole rack, bought a few at a time to fix the specific shelves that are overflowing. That makes it useful for anyone renting, sharing a cupboard, or simply unwilling to replace a shoe cabinet that is otherwise perfectly good.
It is moulded from PP plastic and measures 25 x 20.5 x 11cm, a footprint chosen to fit inside standard cabinet shelving rather than to stand alone on the floor. The two levels are offset so each shoe sits at an angle, which is what lets a second pair occupy the height above without the toes fouling each other. The plastic wipes clean when soles bring grit in from outside.
Use it inside a hallway shoe cabinet, on a wardrobe base shelf, or on an open entryway shelf where pairs would otherwise be lined up flat. It handles flats, heels and boots equally, so it is not limited to one type of footwear. Several across a single shelf turn a row of six pairs into twelve without adding any furniture, and they lift out whenever the shelf needs clearing.
