Desk pen holder for people who want the writing tools on the desk and nothing else added to it. There is no pattern, character or colour block competing with what is already on the surface, which is exactly what a shared office, a classroom desk or a minimal setup calls for. Pens, pencils, markers and scissors stand upright in one place so the desk can be worked on rather than searched.
The build is deliberately plain and solid: a single moulded body with no joints, hinges or removable parts to loosen over time. Because the wall runs straight from base to rim, the interior can be tipped out and wiped in one go when ink or pencil shavings collect at the bottom. Its height suits standard pens and pencils, keeping enough of each one above the rim to grip without fishing.
It works on a dorm desk where the same surface is used for study, meals and a laptop, in a home office beside a monitor, and behind a shop or reception counter where a pen has to be found quickly and returned. In a study it keeps a child's pencils off the floor. Everstock designed it as the default cup for a desk, not a decorative piece to be worked around.
