Pen holder desk organizer for the desk where pens, pencils and stationery have been accumulating in one pile since term started. Sections divide the contents by type, so a highlighter is picked out directly rather than by emptying a pot and starting again. It is aimed at students, home workers and anyone whose desk has to be usable again within a minute of being cleared.
The organizer is moulded in plastic, which is the right material for something that gets ink on it and has to be wiped rather than treated carefully. Dividing walls run full height, so the contents of one section cannot slide under the next and reappear in the wrong place. As a tray rather than a tall cup, it keeps items low enough to see at a glance from a seated position, which a deep pot never allows.
On a study desk it holds pens, pencils, erasers and a sharpener in defined lanes; on a home office desk the same sections take paper clips, USB sticks and sticky notes. It slides into a desk drawer if the surface has to be completely clear, keeping the layout intact rather than tipping everything loose. On a craft table it separates brushes from blades and glue.

Multiple sections sort stationery by type
Full-height dividers stop items migrating between lanes
