Desk organizer with 4 drawers covers both halves of a working surface at once. Four large open compartments hold what is reached for constantly, pens, brushes and scissors, while four drawers underneath take the things that only need to be found occasionally. It is aimed at a desk doing double duty as a workspace and a makeup station, where neither function should have to pack away for the other.
The unit is moulded in plastic as a single stable structure, so there are no assembly problems and nothing to level or tighten before use. The drawers run in the body itself and the open sections sit above them, meaning the storage is genuinely stacked rather than spread sideways: at 20.8 x 14.3 x 15.5cm the full-height version holds a surprising amount for the desk area it costs. A lower 20.8 x 14.3 x 5.8cm version suits a shallow shelf.
On a home office desk it absorbs the stationery that otherwise migrates across the whole surface by Friday. On a dressing table the drawers take palettes and skincare while brushes stand in the open sections. It also works in a student room where one piece of furniture has to serve study, makeup and everything in between without three separate boxes competing for the same desk.
