Bedside nightstand with storage for the side of the bed that has to hold a lamp, a book, a charger and everything else that migrates there overnight. The top surface stays clear for the things you reach for in the dark, while the enclosed compartment below takes the medication, spare cables and paperwork that make an open shelf look untidy within a week. It suits anyone furnishing a bedroom from scratch rather than adding another organizer to one.
The unit measures 45 x 40 x 50 cm, which puts the top at roughly mattress height on a standard bed frame so nothing has to be reached down for. It ships pre-built rather than flat-packed, so there is no hardware bag, no allen key and no half-hour on the bedroom floor before it is usable. The rectangular carcass sits flush against a wall, and the plain modern finish reads as furniture rather than as storage equipment.
Everstock made it for bedrooms where the bedside slot is a fixed width and a wider table simply will not clear the door swing or the wardrobe. It works equally as a small side table in a guest room, beside an armchair, or in a studio flat where one piece has to serve as both bedside and lamp table. Being handed to neither side, it can move across the bed when the room is rearranged.
