Under-bed storage bag for quilts, duvets and spare bedding that get used for part of the year and occupy a whole cupboard shelf for the rest of it. One bag swallows a bulky winter quilt and slides flat into the gap beneath a bed frame, which is usually the last unused space left in a bedroom. Bedding is bulky rather than heavy, which is why it defeats shelves and boxes sized for ordinary household clutter.
It is made from non-woven fabric, breathable enough that bedding is not sealed in against its own moisture, and carries a maximum recommended load of 10 kilograms - a heavy quilt plus pillows, comfortably. The rectangular flat-panel shape holds its form once packed, so the bag slides along the floor rather than snagging on the frame, and the closed body keeps dust off everything inside. Empty, it folds down to almost nothing.
It fits under a bed, on top of a wardrobe or at the back of a closet, and handles coats and out-of-season clothing as well as bedding. Everstock made it for homes with no spare cupboard, where floor level under the bed is the only storage nobody is using. Airing bedding before packing it away keeps it fresh through the months it sits stored. A second bag for pillows keeps the weight per bag manageable when one has to be dragged out from under a low frame.
